Inauguration of Management and Socialization of the USU Physics Student Association's Work Programs for the 2024/2025 Period The inauguration of the Physics Student Association (IMF) of Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2024/2025 period was successfully held on October 21, 2024 at FMIPA USU. The event was attended by the Head of Physics Study Program, Dr. Tulus Ikhsan Nasution, as well as lecturers and student representatives, where the IMF also presented their upcoming work programs. 21 October 2024

Inauguration of FMIPA USU Student Executive Board (BEM) Management and Workshop on FMIPA USU Student Organization Training The inauguration of the new management of BEM FMIPA USU 2024-2025 and the Student Organization Training Workshop were attended by the Vice Dean I, Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra, and the former Chairman of BEM FMIPA, Aldo Sinaga. FMIPA USU Holds Work Health and Safety Workshop with BPBD Medan City The Undergraduate Program in Biology FMIPA USU held a practical safety workshop in the laboratory and field on October 16, 2024. FMIPA USU Holds Public Lecture “Peranan Matematika pada Lembaga Keuangan” The Undergraduate Program in Mathematics of FMIPA Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a public lecture entitled 'Peranan Matematika pada Lembaga Keuangan' with speakers from OJK and attended by the Vice Dean I of FMIPA USU. Election of Academic Senate Members of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives FMIPA USU Period 2024-2029 FMIPA USU held a democratic election of Academic Senate Members of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives for the period 2024-2029. Three lecturers were elected, namely Liana Dwi Sri Hastuti, Muhammad Romi Syahputra, and Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra. 26 September 2024

FMIPA USU Holds Outcome Based Education Curriculum Updating Workshop and Best Practice Fast Track Curriculum FMIPA USU successfully held a curriculum update workshop with Outcome-Based Education and Fast Track Curriculum approaches. This activity is expected to improve the quality of graduates and meet the needs of industry and academia. 24 September 2024

FMIPA USU Holds Workshop “Menggali Potensi AI dalam Penelitian dan Pendidikan Matematika” The Master and Doctoral Program in Mathematical Sciences FMIPA USU successfully held a workshop entitled “Exploring AI's Potential in Mathematical Research and Education” which was attended by participants from various levels. This workshop discussed the application of AI in mathematical research and education to improve participants' skills. 24 September 2024

FMIPA USU Attended the 4th Science and Mathematics International Conference (SMIC) 2024 at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) FMIPA USU attended the 4th SMIC 2024 at UNJ with the theme of technology and sustainability. The conference discussed global innovations in education, math, and science. 23 September 2024

FMIPA USU Together with BPAFK Held a Public Lecture “Testing and Calibration in Securing Health Equipment & Facilities Towards Golden Indonesia 2045” FMIPA USU together with BPAFK Medan City successfully held a public lecture on “Testing and Calibration in Securing Health Equipment & Facilities Towards Golden Indonesia 2045”. This event is expected to add insight to the participants and implement the knowledge gained in the workplace. 19 September 2024
