To Support Learning Innovation, the Undergraduate Program in Chemistry FMIPA USU Held a Workshop “Project Based Learning Methods and Case Methods in the Field of Chemistry” The Undergraduate Program in Chemistry FMIPA USU held a Project-Based Learning and Case Method workshop to support the quality of learning in accordance with Permendikbudristek No. 53 of 2023. Yayasan Pendidikan Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah (YPSA) Held Outing Class Visit to Biology Laboratory FMIPA USU The USU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences received a study visit from students of Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Private High School to improve skills in nine Biology laboratories. This visit fosters enthusiasm for learning with direct discussions with expert staff. 07 November 2024

A Professor from FMIPA USU Obtained Three Patent Rights at Once Prof. Dr. Harry Agusnar, M.Sc., from FMIPA USU secured three patents, including an anti-aging face serum formula made from natural shrimp shell extracts. USU ranks 3rd nationally in patent submissions this year. 07 November 2024

This work offers an innovative and environmentally friendly palm oil waste-based clean water solution. 06 November 2024

Signing of MOA between FMIPA USU and PT. Pacific Medan Industri (PAMIN) and Visit to Polymer Chemistry Laboratory at FMIPA USU The Universitas Sumatera Utara and PT Pacific Medan Industri (PAMIN) signed an MoU and MoA to strengthen collaboration in education and training. This activity marks a joint commitment in supporting the development of human resources and research at FMIPA USU. 29 October 2024

Top 3 Co-Authors of USU with BRIN BRIN presented the BRIN Top Collaborator 2021-2024 award to the Rector of USU and four collaborating lecturers for the most publications in a public lecture at USU.
