Election of Academic Senate Members of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives FMIPA USU Period 2024-2029 FMIPA USU held a democratic election of Academic Senate Members of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives for the period 2024-2029. Three lecturers were elected, namely Liana Dwi Sri Hastuti, Muhammad Romi Syahputra, and Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra. 26 September 2024

FMIPA USU Holds Workshop “Menggali Potensi AI dalam Penelitian dan Pendidikan Matematika” The Master and Doctoral Program in Mathematical Sciences FMIPA USU successfully held a workshop entitled “Exploring AI's Potential in Mathematical Research and Education” which was attended by participants from various levels. This workshop discussed the application of AI in mathematical research and education to improve participants' skills. 24 September 2024

FMIPA USU Attended the 4th Science and Mathematics International Conference (SMIC) 2024 at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) FMIPA USU attended the 4th SMIC 2024 at UNJ with the theme of technology and sustainability. The conference discussed global innovations in education, math, and science. 23 September 2024

FMIPA USU Together with BPAFK Held a Public Lecture “Testing and Calibration in Securing Health Equipment & Facilities Towards Golden Indonesia 2045” FMIPA USU together with BPAFK Medan City successfully held a public lecture on “Testing and Calibration in Securing Health Equipment & Facilities Towards Golden Indonesia 2045”. This event is expected to add insight to the participants and implement the knowledge gained in the workplace. 19 September 2024

TALENTA Training for Staff in the FMIPA USU Environment TALENTA training for staff at FMIPA USU organized by the USU HR Bureau on August 19, 2024 aims to implement the value of BINTANG in work culture. Career Coaching for Prospective Graduates of FMIPA USU Period IV in 2024 FMIPA USU held Career Coaching on August 16, 2024 at the Pendopo FMIPA, facilitated by Rahma Yurliani and Dian Ulfasari Pasaribu, aimed at preparing graduates for success in the workplace. This activity, which was opened by the Vice Dean I of FMIPA USU, Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra, emphasized the importance of the application of lecture knowledge in facing future career challenges. 16 August 2024

FMIPA USU's PKKMB in 2024 The Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) of the Universitas Sumatera Utara 2024 was attended by 7,350 new students, including from FMIPA USU, with the theme “Embracing The Future, Advancing Together”. The activity lasted until August 15, filled with student handover processions, motivation from leaders, and creative activities such as making TikTok videos. 16 August 2024
