FMIPA USU PR - The Undergraduate Program in Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a workshop with the theme “Meningkatkan Keamanan Kegiatan Praktikum Mahasiswa Program Studi Sarjana Biologi di Laboratorium maupun Lapangan”. The activity which was attended by the Vice Dean I of FMIPA USU, the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Biology, and students from the USU Undergraduate Program in Biology was successfully held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in the Multipurpose Room 1st Floor Unit 8 FMIPA USU.
On this occasion, Vice Dean I of FMIPA USU, Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra, S.Si., M.Si., who represented the Dean of FMIPA USU gave a speech as well as opening this workshop activity. In her speech, she hoped, “With this workshop, in the future there will be no more work accidents when students and laboratory assistants are in the laboratory, because safety is the most important”, she said.

The activity continued with the presentation of material by a team from BPBD Medan City, namely Mr. Muhammad Yamin.
