The Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, officially inaugurated Prof. Dr. Sutarman, M.Sc from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) as a Professor in Mathematics.

This event marks an increase in the number of Professors at USU and FMIPA. It is expected that this achievement will further contribute to advancing USU and FMIPA toward becoming a World Class University.
