The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek) awarded Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) the Silver Winner title in the Cooperation Category, Subcategory Best Cooperation Report, at the 2023 Diktiristek Awards.
The Diktiristek Awards recognize stakeholders in higher education, research, and technology who support learning transformation in Indonesia. The awards are divided into several categories, including public and private universities, higher education service institutions, partners from ministries or institutions, industries, as well as journalists and media.
"In the current era of Society 5.0 and the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the role of media is highly significant. Media serves as an educator to the public, provides information, acts as a check on government performance, and disseminates positive news while offering necessary corrections," said Acting Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, Prof. Nizam, during his speech at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (December 13, 2023).
