USU's BPM conducted a socialization at FMIPA on June 26, 2023, to enhance SNPT towards AMI Cycle 16, attended by Vice Deans, BPM leaders, and related officials. The event focused on integrating SPMI and SPME to support quality accreditation.

The Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) conducted by Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), through the Quality Assurance Board (BPM), is a tangible effort by USU to ensure the quality of all faculties within its environment, including FMIPA. To enhance this quality, BPM visited FMIPA on June 26, 2023, at 9:00 AM to socialize the SNPT enhancement through the updating of SPMI documents in Cycle 16 of 2023. This socialization event was attended by Vice Dean I, the Head of BPM, the Secretary of BPM, the Manager of SPMI BPM, the Head of Personnel Subdivision, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, as well as GJM and GKM leaders within FMIPA.

The event was opened by Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhrah, M.Si., as Vice Dean I. She emphasized that this socialization is a crucial matter to consider as it is a strategy for improving quality, which plays a role in the accreditation assessment of each study program. Ir. Tati Vidiana Sari, S.Pt., M.P., IPM., CIIQA, in her presentation, elaborated on achieving USU's Strategic Plan (Renstra) targets through regular application-based monitoring and evaluation, updating the 24 SNDikti and 3 SNPT USU, completing standard statements in conformity audits of SNDikti and SNPT via the SPMI application, and conducting Internal Quality Audits (AMI).

Furthermore, Dr. dr. Isti Ilmiati Fujiati, M.Sc., CMFM, M.Pd.Ked., as the Head of BPM, explained that integrating the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) with the External Quality Assurance System (SPME) will facilitate field accreditation processes in each study program.

Additionally, Dr. Farida Linda Sari Siregar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., elaborated on the Monitoring and Evaluation Instrument for Accreditation Ratings, which is an integral and inseparable part of the BAN-PT regulations.
