HUMAS FMIPA – The Board of Trustees (MWA) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted a working visit to several accredited laboratories within the university, including the Microbiology Laboratory of FMIPA USU, on Wednesday, 04 March 2026. This activity is part of the implementation of the duties and authorities of the MWA as stipulated in Article 27 of Government Regulation Number 16 of 2014 concerning the USU Statute, and is also in line with the function of Commission III of the MWA in the field of Strategic Partnership and University Social Responsibility.

This working visit aimed to directly review the performance and management of laboratories that have obtained accreditation, while also strengthening the role of laboratories in supporting the quality of education, research, and community service at USU.

Through this visit, it is expected that stronger synergy will be established between the MWA and academic implementing units in efforts to improve governance quality as well as strengthen strategic partnerships and the university’s social responsibility.
