The Musrenbang activity was held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Harper Hotel Medan, attended by the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu, M.Sc, Vice Dean I, Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhrah, M.Si, Vice Dean II Dr. Susilawati, M.Si, Vice Dean III Dr. Miswar Budi Mulya, M.Si, Dean's Expert Staff, Head and Secretary of Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral Study Programs (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics).
The meeting was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), who delivered the USU Rector's flagship program for 2023. The event continued with a presentation by Vice Dean I, who proposed several activities related to academics and student affairs at FMIPA. These proposals include USU Branding at the national and international levels, national superior accreditation and international accreditation of study programs, international programs in superior accredited study programs, strengthening E-Learning and MOOC-based learning, developing MBKM through SIL and internationalization at the study program level, increasing student achievement in the fields of science, sports, and arts at the national and international levels of Pilmapres, Pemira, PKKMB, and World Class University.
Vice Dean II proposed activities carried out and related to HR, Finance, Equipment, and General, which are oriented towards excellent service, namely international programs in superior accredited study programs, design of work unit performance systems and independent performance evaluations per semester, strengthening E-Learning and MOOC-based learning, increasing international cooperation research through international research consortia and strengthening the competence of lecturers and staff.
Meanwhile, Vice Dean III put forward a development plan related to Cooperation, Research and Community Service, including initiating MBKM cooperation - certified internships (FGD - Perjadin) with local national and multinational companies.
In the implementation of this musrenbang activity, the Dean of FMIPA emphasized that the development activities of the University and Faculties and Study Programs lead to activities that support internationalization.
