The Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) of FMIPA USU has started since September 20, 2021. The event was held in the unit1 meeting room on the 3rd floor of FMIPA. This Musrembang was opened by the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu, M.Sc., and attended by the Deputy Deans, Head of Administration, Head of Subdivision, and Employees in FMIPA USU. Then, the Musrenbang continued by including the Heads and Secretaries of the FMIPA Diploma, Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral Study Programs, who were newly appointed on October 1, 2021. The FMIPA musrenbang event ends on October 20, 2021.
The implementation of this Musrenbang still follows the COVID-19 prevention health protocol recommended by WHO and the government. In addition, the attendees who participated in this activity had all been vaccinated so that this event could be held in a comfortable situation and focused on designing higher education priority programs to achieve an advanced campus. The advanced campus measure consists of 8 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. Graduates get decent jobs
2. Students Gain Off-Campus Experience
3. Lecturers Engage in Off-Campus Activities
4. Practitioners Teach on Campus
5. Lecturers' work is used by the community
6. Study Program Collaborates with World Class Partners
7. Collaborative and Participatory Classes
8. International Standard Study Program.
With these 8 indicators, it is expected to be able to spur the spirit of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, especially FMIPA, to strive to continue to progress and develop. In his speech, the Dean of FMIPA Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu, M.Sc said that together we, the Dean, Head / Secretary of the study program, Head of Administration, Head of Subdivision, Staff and all FMIPA Students slowly synergize to achieve the target, so that we will be able to achieve 8 IKU points that have been set by KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK.
After the opening ceremony, the Vice Deans led their respective teams and discussed designing priority programs for the upcoming 2022, which refers to the Transformation of Higher Education through the 8 Key Performance Indicators. Each team looks serious and thorough in the preparation of activities and budgets through calculations on the IKU frame that has been determined so that it is expected to pursue targets easily. After various discussions and agreements within the team, the Vice Deans then presented their development plans in detail, complete with Terms of Reference (KAK) and Cost Budget Details (RAB) for each activity. Then, together, the Dean, Head / Secretary of the study program, Head of Administration, Head of Subdivision, Staff, and all FMIPA Students strive to achieve the target, which is realized in the implementation of activities for next year in accordance with the agreed and approved plan. Furthermore, the 2021 musrenbang activity ended with a group photo with the Deans, the newly appointed Head / Secretary of the study program, the Head of Administration, the Head of Subdivision, and the Staff.
