FMIPA USU PUBLIC RELATION - Vice Dean I of the USU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra S.Si., M.Si, inaugurated the management of the Student Executive Board (BEM) and the Faculty Student Representative Council (DPMF) for the 2024/2025 period in the Multipurpose Room Unit 8 FMIPA USU on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
In her remarks, Vice Dean I of FMIPA USU hoped that this BEM could become a forum for student aspirations for the progress of FMIPA USU in the future. "I hope that this BEM and DPMF become representatives of students to convey aspirations, of course, to the faculty or university, and from this BEM, we hope that later we can carry out activities that can increase the potential of FMIPA, both in the academic and non-academic fields," she hoped.
The activity continued with the reading of the DPMF Decree by the Vice Dean 1 of FMIPA USU. It continued with the reading of the Decree of the Head and Vice Chair of BEM FMIPA USU by the Head of the Faculty Student Representative Council (DPMF).
After being inaugurated, the Head of DPMF FMIPA USU thanked the Vice Dean I FMIPA USU, who had inaugurated him and thanked the committee for successfully organizing this election activity. In his speech, he hoped that DPMF under his leadership could become the highest faculty institution that upholds honesty, justice, trustworthiness, and integrity in carrying out its duties and authority. "DPMF in the future, we can continue to be present among students in the FMIPA USU environment to accommodate and channel the aspirations and complaints of students in the FMIPA USU environment. Not only that, DPMF should also be able to assist in solving student problems, be it problems in lectures, campus environment, or laboratories, "he said.
In his speech, the elected Head of BEM FMIPA USU, Rayqal Aulia Alrezka Sembiring P., got the opportunity to give a speech. He thanked his friends who had helped him in going through the process of electing the Head of BEM FMIPA USU, especially to friends of the Department Student Association (HMJ) organization from the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. He also invited all FMIPA USU students to be able to participate in the recruitment of the Executive Board (BPH) of BEM FMIPA USU so that they can jointly develop FMIPA USU in the future.
