FMIPA PR - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held the Election of Academic Senate Members of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives for the 2024-2029 Period on Thursday, (26/09/2024), at the Multipurpose Room 1st Floor Unit 8 FMIPA USU. The election of the Academic Senate of Non-Professor Lecturer Representatives for the 2024-2029 Period was opened by the Dean of FMIPA USU, Prof. Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu, M.Sc., and attended by the dean's staff through a voting mechanism. Lecturers who use the right to vote amounted to 69 people. The prospective members of the academic senate were also present to witness the election process. The voting process is carried out transparently and democratically, giving lecturers the right to vote for candidates who are considered the most competent in representing the interests of the faculty.
The candidates for Academic Senate members elected for the period 2024-2029 are Dr. M. Sontang Sihotang, M.Sc., M. Romi Syahputra, S.Si., M.Si., Liana Dwi Sri Hastuti, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., Riyanto Sinaga, S.Si., M.Si., Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra, S.Si., M.Si., Dr. Susilawati, S.Si., M.Si., and Dr. Diana Alemin Barus, M.Sc.
The voting results showed that the elected candidates for Academic Senate members were Liana Dwi Sri Hastuti, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., Muhammad Romi Syahputra, S.Si., M.Si., and Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra, S.Si., M.Si.
