HUMAS FMIPA – Universitas Sumatera Utara invites creative and high-achieving students with strong environmental awareness to join the 2026 Sobat Bumi Pertamina Foundation Scholarship Program.
This scholarship program is a form of appreciation and support from Pertamina Foundation for young generations who are ready to become change-makers in environmental preservation and sustainable energy initiatives.
Scholarship Benefits
Scholarship awardees will receive various benefits, including:
Financial Support: Tuition fee assistance and living allowance
Capacity Development: Capacity & Character-Building programs to enhance soft skills and leadership abilities
Environmental Initiatives: Opportunities to actively participate in Green Initiative Programs such as Aksi SoBi, DEB SoBi, and Pertamina Voluntary
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Indonesian citizen (WNI)
Active student of Universitas Sumatera Utara (Partner University of Pertamina Foundation)
Undergraduate (S1/Applied Bachelor’s Degree/D4) students in semesters 2–6 or Diploma (D3) students in semesters 2–4
Minimum GPA of 3.00
Not currently receiving another scholarship during the January 2026 – December 2027 period
Free from drug abuse and criminal activities
Active in organizations or social/environmental/energy-related activities
Foreign language proficiency certificate (TOEFL/IELTS) is optional but will be considered an advantage
Essay Requirement
As part of the selection process, applicants are required to submit a motivation letter and an essay with the theme: “My Real Actions in Spreading Positive Energy for a Sustainable Earth”
