The Master’s and Doctoral Programs in Biology at FMIPA Universitas Sumatera Utara are now open for enrollment, holding excellent and very good accreditation. Research concentrations include physiology, ecology, microbiology, and plant-animal interactions.
Master’s in Biology:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biology Education, Agriculture, Forestry, or Biomedicine
GPA ≥ 2.75; TOEFL ≥ 450; TPA ≥ 450
Biology Education graduates are required to take a matriculation program
Doctorate in Biology:
Master’s degree in Biology, Agriculture, Forestry, Biomedicine, Environmental Science, or Aquatic Sciences
GPA ≥ 3.0; TOEFL ≥ 450; TPA ≥ 475
Thesis and Dissertation Topics: Physiology, cell metabolism, phylogenetics, cell structure and development, ecology, biodiversity, secondary metabolites, plant-animal interactions with the environment including microorganisms.
