HUMAS FMIPA USU – The Rector of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., officially inaugurated the Heads and Secretaries of Departments and Study Programs across Universitas Sumatera Utara for the 2026–2031 term of office. The inauguration ceremony was held at the USU Student Center on Wednesday (1 July 2026) as part of the university's commitment to strengthening academic governance and leadership across all faculties, including the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA).
During the ceremony, the Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs within FMIPA USU were officially entrusted with leading their respective study programs for the next five years. The inauguration marks an important milestone in strengthening adaptive, innovative, and quality-oriented academic leadership.
The event was attended by the Dean of FMIPA USU, Prof. Dr. Miswar Budi Mulya, M.Si., along with members of the FMIPA academic community, who expressed their support for the newly inaugurated academic leaders.

Dr. T. Alief Aththorick, S.Si., M.Si. – Head of the Master's in Biology and Doctoral Program in Biological Sciences
Prof. Dr. Sovia Lenny, M.Si. – Head of the Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program
Prof. Dr. Andriayani, S.Pd., M.Si. – Head of the Master's in Chemistry and Doctoral Program in Chemistry

The inauguration, led directly by the Rector of USU, marks the beginning of the newly appointed academic leaders' term of service. They are expected to uphold professional academic governance, enhance the quality of education, strengthen research and community engagement, and contribute to achieving Universitas Sumatera Utara's strategic vision as a globally competitive university.
