Workshop on Improving the Quality of Public Information Management held by the USU Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) on Wednesday, 7 September 2022 held in the Academic Senate Room 3rd floor. USU Central Administration Bureau Building at 09.00 WIB-complete. By presenting speakers from Siti Ajijah, SH, MA, as an Expert Assistant to the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia and guided by Amalia Meutia, M.Psi, as moderator. The event was attended by the Secretary of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. dr. Muhammad Fidel Ganis Siregar M.Ked (OG)., Sp.OG (K), chairman and operator of faculty public relations at USU. The FMIPA public relations team also participated in the workshop.

Ajijah presented material on Information Disclosure as stated in Article 28 F of the 1945 Constitution, namely Everyone has the right to communicate and obtain information to develop their personal and social environment, and has the right to seek, obtain, own, store, process, and convey information using all available channels.
In addition, he also explained public information and information, the scope of public information, public agencies, obligations of public agencies, rights of public agencies, and PPID responsibilities. At the end of his explanation, he said that PPID, in documenting information, must be responsible for coordinating the storage and documentation of all Public Information located in Public Bodies in accordance with the Law on Archives.
