FMIPA Public Relations, USU - On Tuesday, November 7, 2024, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Education Foundation (YPSA) at the Biology Laboratory, Unit 5, FMIPA USU.
The visit aimed to enhance the quality and skills of 10th-grade students from Shafiyyatul Amaliyyah Private High School.
During the event, the group of 10th-grade students toured nine Biology laboratories at FMIPA USU, including the Plant Structure Laboratory, Plant Physiology and Tissue Culture Laboratory, Plant Ecology Laboratory, Microbiology Laboratory, Animal Taxonomy Laboratory, Animal Structure Laboratory, Animal Physiology Laboratory, Animal Ecology Laboratory, and Molecular Biology/Genetics Laboratory.
The students were highly enthusiastic and actively engaged in discussions with expert laboratory staff, technicians, and laboratory assistants responsible for each laboratory they visited.
