HUMAS FMIPA - The inauguration of the Acacia Park and Al Muslimun Park FMIPA USU, which is located between the Al Muslimun Mosque and the Physics Study Program by USU Rector Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin S.Sos., M.Si. on Thursday, (25/01/2024). The ribbon cutting was symbolically done by the USU Rector, who was accompanied by Dean Prof. Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu M.Sc and the deputy Deans of FMIPA USU, USU Vice Rector II Muhammad Arifin Nasution S.Sos., M.SP, USU Vice Rector III Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, S.Si., M.Si., Apt, USU Vice Rector V for Asset and Business Management Ir. Luhut Sihombing, M.P and university leaders.
In his remarks, USU Rector, Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si hopes that the existence of green facilities can provide maximum comfort for the faculty's academic community so as to increase productivity and the quality of performance of leaders, staff, and students in the future. “The inauguration of pedestrians and 3 campus parks is not just a form of physical infrastructure, but also a symbol of our commitment to creating a campus environment that is comfortable, green, shady, and supports academic and social activities. The pedestrian that we inaugurated today is not only an additional facility for pedestrians but also a space for meetings and interactions between members of the campus community. Through environmentally friendly design, we hope this new facility can provide a pleasant atmosphere for socializing, discussing, and sharing ideas among all of us,” he hoped.
On the same occasion, the Dean of FMIPA USU, Prof. Dr. Nursahara Pasaribu, M.Sc in her speech, expressed her gratitude to the University Leaders and their staff “Thank you to the University Leaders and their staff because these two parks have been successful and completed in 2022 and 2003, of course the construction of this park adds to the ASRI environment in FMIPA, especially in front of the Mosque and in this field”. He also hopes that the University Leaders and their staff can make development at FMIPA USU a priority in the future so that the FMIPA USU environment will be more beautiful.
In addition to the inauguration of the Acacia Park and Al Muslimun Park FMIPA USU, the USU Rector also inaugurated the USU Zone 1 Pedestrian on USU Almamater Street and the Laboratory Park (UPT Lab. Integrated). FMIPA PR
