HUMAS FMIPA — As part of efforts to strengthen collaboration among higher education institutions in the fields of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA), the MIPAnet successfully held its National Working Meeting (Rakernas) 2026 from April 12–15, 2026, at Universitas Negeri Malang.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FMIPA USU), actively participated in this strategic forum, represented by the Dean, Nursahara Pasaribu, along with the Vice Dean II, Susilawati. Their presence reflects the institution’s commitment to aligning faculty development strategies with national policies and expanding academic collaboration networks at the national level.

 

Key Focus: Faculty Policy and Global Governance
During the event, the FMIPA USU delegation attended an important dissemination session on Ministerial Regulation Permendiktisaintek No. 52 of 2025 concerning lecturers’ professional pathways, careers, and remuneration, delivered by the Director of Human Resources of Diktiristek. In addition, discussions focused on strategies for international research collaboration and the standardization of laboratory governance to support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKP).

 

Commitment to Implementation at FMIPA USU
Nursahara Pasaribu emphasized that participation in this national meeting is essential to ensure FMIPA USU remains adaptive to the evolving landscape of higher education. As a follow-up, the outcomes of the meeting will be disseminated and implemented into the faculty’s work programs, particularly in strengthening partnerships (MoU/MoA), increasing publications in reputable scientific journals, and improving laboratory governance based on benchmarking results.

Through this active participation, FMIPA USU reaffirms its readiness to contribute meaningfully to advancing MIPA higher education in Indonesia and to continuously enhancing the quality of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
