FMIPA PR - In supporting the Adjunct Professor Program at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) USU held a Public Lecture with the theme “Interaction of Mechanics and Materials Science in Product Design” on Friday, April 26, 2024 at the Multipurpose Room FMIPA USU Unit 8. The public lecture was attended by Prof. Stergios Goutianos (Doctor of Engineering) from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Gjovik, Norway.

Also present to give a speech was the Manager of the Internationalization Program at the Directorate of Internationalization and Global Partnerships, Prof. Rikson Asman Fertiles Siburian, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D. He expressed his hope that with this International Public Lecture activity, the Universitas Sumatera Utara can compete on an international scale and produce students who excel at the world level. To students, he also hopes that they can learn and adopt knowledge from speakers who already have a lot of international experience.
Before starting the public lecture material, the activity continued with a group photo session and the handover of plaques from FMIPA USU to the speakers.
