FMIPA USU - Medan
The inauguration of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Alumni Association (IKA USU) Riau Region took place on Sunday, 26 June 2022, at the Prince Hotel Ballroom Pekanbaru. The inauguration of IKA USU covers several faculties, namely IKA Faculty of Economics and Business, Pharmacy, Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Agriculture, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Literature, Public Health, Nursing and Forestry. The event was also attended by the dean of each faculty, Vice Rector I, Dr. Edy Ikhsan, SH, MA, and Vice Rector 3, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan S.Si., M.Si., Apt.
The event began with a welcome speech from the Head of the Committee, Ade Asmara, SKM, M. Kes. Furthermore, the Head of IKA USU Riau Region H. Burhanuddin Agung, Drg. MM, Vice Rector I of USU, Dr. Edi Ikhsan, SH, MA, Head of PP IKA USU, Romo RH Muhammad Syafii, SH, MHum, and Governor of Riau who is also a USU Alumni, Drs. H. Syamsuar, M. Si. The procession began with the reading of the Decree of IKA FMIPA USU Riau Region based on Decree 009/TAP/F-MF/IKA-FIB-USU/Riau/III/ 2022. Mr Fadli Maidyan Nasution, S.Si, M.Si was determined and appointed as the elected Head for the period 2022 - 2026. This was followed by the signing of the Inauguration Manuscript, which was witnessed by the Dean of FMIPA USU, Dr Nursahara Pasaribu, MSc, and the Head of IKA USU Riau Region. The handover of PATAKA by the Dean of FMIPA to the Head of IKA FMIPA USU Riau Region, as well as the reading of the pledge of all IKA USU Faculty Management in Riau Region by the Head of IKA USU Riau Region.
Drs Anshari Adnan, M.Si representing the Management of IKA FMIPA USU Sumatra expressed his gratitude for the welcome of the Committee, the Management of IKA USU Riau Region, the Management of IKA FMIPA USU Riau, with their hospitality and good cooperation to support each other in the success of the inauguration event which was also coupled with the Great Family Reunion of IKA USU, which was also attended by IKA USU Aceh, IKA USU West Sumatra, IKA USU South Sumatra and IKA USU Banten.
Dean of FMIPA USU, Dr Nursahara Pasaribu MSc, hopes that the support and enthusiasm at the grand reunion and inauguration event will become the spirit capital of the IKA FMIPA USU Management to move forward compactly so that the alumni move forward, the alma mater moves forward, and MIPA USU moves forward.
