The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), together with the Balai Pengamanan Alat dan Fasilitas Kesehatan (BPAFK), held a public lecture titled "Testing and Calibration in the Safeguarding of Medical Equipment & Facilities Towards Golden Indonesia 2045". The event, attended by Vice Deans I, II, and III of FMIPA USU and participants from the Undergraduate Program in Physics, was successfully held on Wednesday, (18/09/2024) at the Multipurpose Hall Unit 8 FMIPA USU.

The Head of the Undergraduate Program in Physics, Dr. Tulus Ikhsan Nasution, S.Si., M.Sc., in his opening remarks, expressed his hope that "the participants attending today will listen attentively to gain knowledge and insights that can later be applied in the workforce," he said.

Vice Dean I of FMIPA USU, Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhra S.Si., M.Si., representing the Dean of FMIPA USU, who was unable to attend, delivered a welcome speech and officially opened the event. In her speech, she stated, "This public lecture is very beneficial as we are gaining knowledge directly from experts."

The event continued with the signing of the Implementation Agreement (IA) between FMIPA USU, represented by Vice Dean III Prof. Dr. Miswar Budi Mulya S.Si., M.Si., and BPAFK Medan, represented by Head of BPAFK Medan, Khairul Bahri, S.T., M.K.M.
