HUMAS FMIPA USU – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a Coordination Meeting with the Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, Secretaries of Study Programs, and the Head of Administration at the FMIPA USU Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor on Tuesday (7/7/2026). The meeting served as a strategic forum to strengthen coordination and align the implementation of various programs and policies within FMIPA USU.

The meeting was led by the Dean of FMIPA USU, Prof. Dr. Miswar Budi Mulya, S.Si., M.Si., as part of the faculty's efforts to foster effective communication between the faculty leadership and all study program administrators. Through this forum, participants comprehensively discussed various academic issues, governance, administrative services, and work program development to enhance the quality of education at FMIPA USU.

In his remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration among all faculty leaders in addressing the increasingly dynamic challenges of higher education. According to him, strong coordination serves as the foundation for realizing professional, adaptive, and quality-oriented faculty governance in education, research, community service, and services for the academic community.

In addition to evaluating ongoing programs, the coordination meeting also served to establish a shared understanding of the faculty's strategic agenda moving forward. Each study program is expected to strengthen the implementation of university policies while continuously promoting innovation in the delivery of the three pillars of higher education.

Through this activity, FMIPA USU reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a collaborative, transparent, and accountable work culture. With stronger coordination among its units, the faculty remains optimistic about delivering high-quality academic services and enhancing FMIPA USU's competitiveness at both the national and international levels.
