The Directorate of Digital Learning (DITDP) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) held a Workshop on the Utilization of the Universitas Sumatera Utara Learning Management System (LMS)/E-Learning, attended by lecturers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) USU. The workshop was held on Thursday (July 23) at the Multipurpose Room, 1st Floor, Unit 8, FMIPA USU.

The workshop aimed to enhance lecturers’ competence in utilizing the USU Learning Management System as an effective and interactive digital learning platform that supports technology-based education. Through the workshop, participants gained an understanding of digital classroom management, lecture material development, assignment and assessment management, and the optimization of various features available on the USU LMS platform.

During the workshop, the USU Directorate of Digital Learning team delivered presentations, demonstrated the use of the LMS, and conducted hands-on practice sessions, enabling participants to gain a better understanding of how LMS features can be implemented to support the learning process at FMIPA USU.

The activity was part of Universitas Sumatera Utara’s commitment to strengthening digital transformation in education while improving learning quality through the use of information technology. Through this workshop, FMIPA USU lecturers are expected to further optimize the LMS to create learning experiences that are more innovative, effective, and student-centered.

The collaboration between the Directorate of Digital Learning and FMIPA USU is expected to continue as a joint effort to improve the quality of higher education and strengthen the digital learning ecosystem at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
