The Quality Assurance System at the Faculty level is the Quality Assurance Group (GJM), while at the study program level is the Quality Control Group (GKM). GJM in FMIPA coordinates 12 study programs, namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology study programs at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels, respectively. After the USU Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) conducted an academic internal quality audit (AMI) as a form of evaluation in the PPEPP method in cycle 15 of 2022, the GJM held a Control Meeting and Follow-up Plan (RP-RTL) for all FMIPA GKMs.
The FMIPA internal quality audit Control and Follow-up Plan (RP-RTL) meeting was held on January 6, 2023. The meeting was attended by Vice Dean 1 Dr. Cut Fatimah Zuhrah, S.Si, M.Si, heads/secretaries of study programs, heads of GJM, and heads of GKM of each study program in FMIPA.
The Control and Follow-up Plan Meeting was opened by Dr. Putri Cahaya Situmorang, M.Si. Furthermore, Vice Dean 1 gave a speech that motivated and expected the head of GKM to be more active in completing the data needed when the AMI evaluation monitor takes place in their respective study programs. This will have an impact when the study program will carry out accreditation. If the data and documents are complete, it will facilitate preparation in the field assessment of the study program's accreditation.
The event continued with the presentation of the results of the internal quality audit (AMI) cycle 15 in 2022 by the head of GJM, Dr. Kaniwa Berliani, S.Si, M.Si. regarding the completeness of the quality standard documents, formative M&E documents, and findings on the assessment in the form of a spiderweb through the verification process to the auditi listed in the AMI report. After that, discuss the follow-up plan for the findings of the audit results in each study program in FMIPA. The agreement of steps and strategies, as well as the follow-up commitment of each study program to improve standards or to overcome several cases in the quality audit findings, are listed on the minutes of meeting (MoM) form of the USU SPMI control meeting and follow-up plan. The RP-RTL event ended with a group photo.
