Agus Nurbilah, a student of the Undergraduate Program in Physics at FMIPA, won 2nd place in the USU 2023 Student Achievement Selection (Pilmapres), inspiring other students to excel.

The Student Achievement Selection (Pilmapres) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) was successfully held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) USU. After going through a rigorous selection process from the program study level, faculty, to the university level, Agus Nurbilah, a student from the Undergraduate Program in Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), achieved 2nd place as the USU Main Outstanding Student II. In this competition, Agus competed against 15 other outstanding student contingents, with Putri Chalya from the Faculty of Medicine winning 1st place and Raseuki Nanggroe from the Faculty of Agriculture taking 3rd place. Agus expressed that each stage of the selection provided valuable experiences, from challenging questions from the jury to memorable moments when presenting her aspirations. She emphasized the importance of self-confidence and thorough preparation in participating in Pilmapres. Agus's achievement not only brings honor to the Undergraduate Program in Physics but also serves as an inspiration for other students to continue excelling.
