3 FMIPA Lecturers from 22 USU Lecturers who entered the ranks of the TOP 500 Best Indonesian Researchers according to Sinta Ristekbrin are Prof. Dr. Herman Mawengkang (Mathematics Study Program, ranked 79th) Prof. Dr. Tulus Vor.Dipl.Math., M.Si., Ph.D (Mathematics Study Program, ranked 103rd) and Prof. Dr. Syafruddin Ilyas M.Biomed (Biology Study Program, ranked 264th).
