Master's Program (S-2)

The Master's Program in Mathematics at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has been established since 2001 as an advanced study program from the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics. The program specializes in mathematical science education with a focus on optimization and operations research.

Supported by the best teaching staff who have national teaching certifications and a conducive academic environment, we are determined to expand students' knowledge of mathematical sciences both theoretically and practically. Graduates of the USU Master's Program in Mathematics have profiles as resource persons, researchers, operations research analysts, and managers, and they have spread across various regions in Indonesia.

  2. Produce research outputs for both lecturers and students that can be published in indexed international journals.
  3. Improving professional service capabilities (community service) by way of development research by linking similar fields of science or profession.
