Biology Laboratory

Biology is one of the Study Programs in FMIPA USU. The achievement of the teaching and learning process that produces graduates who are superior and regionally competitive in the fields of industrial biology, the environment, and the preservation of natural resources is largely determined by the existence of the Laboratory. Development of research quality, especially in the field of biology, can be carried out with qualified biological potential in accordance with the field of research. Currently, laboratories, especially biology, include Plant Structure Laboratory, Plant Physiology Tissue Culture, Plant Ecology Taxonomy, Microbiology, Animal Taxonomy, Animal Structure, Animal Physiology, Animal Ecology, Molecular Biology/Genetics. Apart from the scientific development of basic research, various applied researches are also carried out which can be felt by the user community and global industry in order to improve welfare. Various collaborations have also been carried out both at home and abroad so that in the end it will support the development of a World Class University.
